Practical applications of new and developing technologies in the transport sector will dominate the agenda at the fourth 8545 MaaS Market conference taking place in London on March 20-21.

City authorities, transport operators and senior tech industry presenters will discuss their direct experience of participating in Mobility as a Service (MaaS) projects while addressing issues such as data exchange, payment systems, interoperability and political accountability.

These will include Lauri Suokannas of Taksi Helsinki Oy - which provides taxi services to 8571 MaaS Global in Helsinki - and Robbert Lohmann of 8172 2getthere, operators of shuttle services using autonomous vehicles in several cities. Also on the agenda are presenters from Copenhagen and Dallas, where they are building their own MaaS-style services, and others from Birmingham and Aarhus which are working with third party providers.

“Those wanting to understand the technology, those focused on getting MaaS underway in their local area and transport providers keen to participate in the MaaS revolution will all hear of applicable solutions,” said Graham Anderson, head of conferences and events.

MaaS Market 2019 will take place at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London on 20-21 March.
