LB Foster wins $60 million Honolulu rail contract

Pennsylvania-based LB Foster Company has been awarded the company’s largest rail products contract, valued at approximately US$60 million, by contractor Kiewit/Kobayashi, a joint venture for the county-wide construction of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) passenger transit system.     Sweden-headquartered TagMaster has received an order from Bombardier Transportation to provide its advanced RFID solution for a project to upgrade and extend the signalling on Line 5 on the São Paulo Metro in Brazil.     Bombardier Transportation has been awarded two contracts for its Bombardier Innovia Monorail 300 system for two mass rapid transit lines in Bangkok.     New Zealand trials parking bay sensor technology
    Wellington City Council in New Zealand has begun to trial Smart Parking’s bay sensor technology with the installation of an initial 72 sensors.
