8097 Gridsmart Technologies will announce new products at the ITS America Meeting, further solidifying the company’s commitment to simple, flexible, and transparent ITS solutions.

“We are traffic control freaks, obsessive in our commitment to deliver practical tools to help traffic professionals move people safely and efficiently,” said Dr Jeff Price, Chief of Technology. “These new products are pure Gridsmart: simple and extremely cost effective whether you have one Gridsmart site or hundreds.”

The Gridsmart Performance Module will deliver reports to a user’s inbox in evolving formats supporting MAP-21. This module introduces new historical reporting capabilities such as multiday averaging. Additionally, performance data will now be archived and reportable.

According to the company, municipalities can simultaneously meet both traffic and surveillance needs through the Gridsmart Security Module, integrating raw video streams from Gridsmart cameras into video management systems employed for security and situational awareness.

Finally, the company announces that Gridsmart Atlas has arrived and will be featured at the event. This innovation is a web-based software solution empowering traffic departments to securely share imagery from Gridsmart systems and other IP cameras with outside entities, such as fire, police, or homeland security. The company says that Atlas is powerful yet simple, and will provide fine-grained control and require minimal hardware and infrastructure.
