Keolis Shanghai opens first section of Songjiang tram line
Keolis Shanghai, a joint venture with Shanghai Shentong Metro, has opened the first section of the Songjiang tram line, offering connections to Shanghai Metro Line 6. The first phase is expected to transport 170,00 passengers per day.
The 13.9km route runs across Songjiang, a suburban district, and includes 20 stations from Canghua Rd station in the west to Zhongchen Rd station in the east which serves residential areas and universities.
The service is being operated with 15 Citadis trams manufacture

6546 Keolis Shanghai, a joint venture with Shanghai Shentong Metro, has opened the first section of the Songjiang tram line, offering connections to Shanghai Metro Line 6. The first phase is expected to transport 170,00 passengers per day.
The 13.9km route runs across Songjiang, a suburban district, and includes 20 stations from Canghua Rd station in the west to Zhongchen Rd station in the east which serves residential areas and universities.
The service is being operated with 15 Citadis trams manufactured by 8158 Alstom and these will initially run every 10 minutes from 5am to 11pm. From mid-2019, the service will operate 30 trams across 31km with 46 stations.

Edeva is to deploy two active speed bumps at Curtain University in Perth, Western Australia, following an initial deployment in which speeding was reduced from 70% to 25%.
Edeva’s Actibump detects the speed of oncoming vehicles and lowers its hatch by 60mm in the road surface if a driver is speeding – which sends a physical bump to the driver.

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies has appointed engineering firm Dar Al-Handasah to begin construction of a Hyperloop system in Abu Dhabi in the third quarter of 2019.

The Connected Vehicle Pilot Deployment program includes three phases: Phase 1: Concept Development Phase, Phase 2: Design/Build/Test (for which this solicitation will ascertain that the objectives of the program are met), and Phase 3: Maintain and Operate.
