Kapsch, ITS World Congress main sponsor, showcases ITS expertise

During this year’s ITS World Congress, Kapsch TrafficCom - as the event’s main sponsor - will have a multi-faceted presence: Georg Kapsch, CEO of Kapsch TrafficCom and the Kapsch Group will speak during the Opening Ceremony and host the Welcome Reception. During this year’s ITS World Congress, 4984 Kapsch TrafficCom - as the event’s main sponsor -  will have a multi-faceted presence: Georg Kapsch, CEO of Kapsch TrafficCom and the Kapsch Group will speak during the Opening Ceremony and host the Welcome Reception.

Kapsch TrafficCom will participate in about 20 congress sessions as speakers, moderators or panel members.

The company will also present technical demonstrations about V2X applications within cooperative systems as members of the Testfeld Telematik project. On highway A23, participants will experience the latest in 5.9GHz applications for road safety based on G-5 standards, while on highway A4, Kapsch TrafficCom will conduct a live demonstration of 5.9GHz WAVE applications.

All in all, the company’s involvement and central role in the ITS World Congress will underline its expertise as a provider of high-performance ITS in the application fields of toll collection, urban access management and traffic safety and security.
