Jacobs wins TxDOT traffic engineering contracts

Jacobs Engineering Group has been awarded three contracts by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to provide services for various projects state-wide. 6320 Jacobs Engineering Group has been awarded three contracts by the 375 Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to provide services for various projects state-wide.

The three contracts will see Jacobs provide: traffic engineering and planning studies primarily in the El Paso District; engineering services for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) and related documents for various on-system and off-system bridge replacements state-wide; and professional land surveying services within and along state right-of-way easements in support of preliminary engineering, construction engineering and maintenance work primarily in the Austin and San Antonio Districts.

Making the announcement, Jacobs Group vice president Randy Pierce stated, “We are pleased to help enhance safety and mobility in the state of Texas by continuing to support TxDOT on a wide variety of projects from the conceptual stage to full project delivery.”
