ITS World Congress preliminary programme now online

The preliminary programme of the 22nd ITS World Congress is now available online, with details of all sessions, speakers, social and associated events, as well as the 30-plus demonstr4ations which have been planned for the congress in Bordeaux.

In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, and three plenary sessions, highlights of this year’s event include the Ministerial Roundtable, two high-level technology summits and a public afternoon open to all.

Keynote speakers at the Plenary sessions include: Ogi Redzic, senior vice-president, Connected Driving, Here; Pierre Coppey, president of Vinci and ASFA, Steve Yianni, chief executive officer, Transport Systems Catapult; and Violeta Bulc, European Commissioner for Mobility and Transport.

Submissions based on this year’s theme - ‘Intelligent Mobility: Safer, Greener, Smarter’ - should relate to topics on intelligent mobility: moving people, data and freight. Authors of the accepted papers will present findings in a session organised by ITS America’s programme committee which will feature a moderator appointed by the event
