The organising committee of the 19th 6456 ITS World Congress & Exhibition, being held from 22-26 October 2012 in Vienna, Austria, have issued a reminder that the call for papers is open and that the submission deadline is 13th January, 2012.
The 2013 ITS World Congress has awarded the 2013 Intelligent Transport Systems Industry Award to Transport Certification Australia (TCA) for its pioneering work in telematics and cooperative intelligent transport systems. Congratulating TCA, ITS Australia Chief Executive Officer Susan Harris said the international recognition for TCA’s contribution was well deserved. “TCA has been a creative and confident leader in a complex sector of the ITS industry,” she said.
Kapsch TrafficCom recorded a turnover increase from €388.66 million (US$476.75 million) in the 2010/2011 business year to €549.9 million in the 2011/2012 business year. Net profits decreased three per cent to €27.5 million and Ebit decreased 13.6 per cent to €42.2 million.
