The organising committee of the 19th 6456 ITS World Congress & Exhibition, being held from 22-26 October 2012 in Vienna, Austria, have issued a reminder that the call for papers is open and that the submission deadline is 13th January, 2012.
In the US, Xerox researchers have taken to the streets in a bid to reduce traffic congestion. They’re using expertise in data analytics, control systems, sensing, imaging and video to create new transportation applications that help reduce congestion, increase safety on the road and take the pain out of finding a parking spot.
It would be hard to imagine a more appropriate venue for the 23rd ITS World Congress which runs from 10-14 October. For the 6th successive year, Melbourne has won the title of the World’s Most Liveable City, helped by its perfect 100 out of 100 score for infrastructure.
Early bird registration for ITS World Congress in Singapore is now open and runs until 19 August.
Themed ‘Smart Mobility, Empowering Cities’, the 26th World Congress will offer a technical programme and demonstration showcase as well as technical tours that encompass a range of transport modes.
