The organising committee of the 19th 6456 ITS World Congress & Exhibition, being held from 22-26 October 2012 in Vienna, Austria, have issued a reminder that the call for papers is open and that the submission deadline is 13th January, 2012.
To be premiered at the 19th ITS World Congress in Vienna, the “Kongressnavigator” app for iPhone, Android and mobile web is the first app to combine navigation through the city with guidance to the congress centre. The app provides GPS based navigation with real time public transport information, suggesting the best metro, car and cycle routes. The Call for Contributions for ITS World Congress in Copenhagen 2018 are now open with a deadline for 15 December 2017.
Leading up to the event, the City of Copenhagen and the Danish Industry Foundation have hosted the first ITS Hackathon, which aims to motivate Danish businesses to test new ITS solutions in the urban environment.
