ITS European Congress 2020 is to take place in Lisbon, bringing together international mobility stakeholders next year in the Portuguese capital. ITS European Congress 2020 is to take place in Lisbon, bringing together international mobility stakeholders next year in the Portuguese capital.


Organised by 374 Ertico – ITS Europe, the Congress will be themed 'ITS - The Game Changer’ and is an opportunity to display Lisbon's latest achievements in the field of intelligent mobility services.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Ertico CEO Jacob Bangsgaard, Rui Camolino, president of ITS Portugal, and Miguel Gaspar, mobility councillor for Lisbon City Council.

    Bird acquires California-based EV firm Scoot
    Scooter-share firm Bird is to acquire Scoot, a San Francisco-based electric vehicle (EV) company. Scoot began deploying electric scooters in San Francisco in 2012 and has expanded in Santiago, Chile and Barcelona. Travis VanderZanden, founder and CEO of Bird says the partnership will work toward replacing “car trips with micro mobility options for all”.     Uber wants to resume testing its self-driving cars on public roads nearly eight months after one of its autonomous vehicles (AV) killed a pedestrian in Arizona.
