ITS Australia honours winners and seeks future innovators at the Asia Pacific Forum

The 10 winners of the ITS Australia Asia Pacific Student Scholarships Program were announced at the opening plenary session of the Asia Pacific Forum. The winners, from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, were each awarded Up to Aus$5000 cash towards expenses to attend the 2016 World Congress in Melbourne and an invitation to participate as a speaker.

The 10 winners of the 858 ITS Australia Asia Pacific Student Scholarships Program were announced at the opening plenary session of the Asia Pacific Forum. The winners, from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, were each awarded Up to Aus$5000 cash towards expenses to attend the 2016 World Congress in Melbourne and an invitation to participate as a speaker.

To build on the Scholarship Program, ITS Australia launched an ITS Future Innovators Club designed to provide a platform to foster innovation among keen, creative young students.

Award winner attended the Forum as a guest of ITS Australia. The senior electrical engineer at the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads also had the opportunity to present a paper at  the Forum.
