ITS America reveals leadership line-up for 2025

Directors include Cavnue's Chris Armstrong and Seleta Reynolds of LA Metro

ITS America has confirmed its leadership line-up for next year. The organisation's board of directors certified the election of its 2025 board officers, and welcomed its six new directors at the board meeting this week in Washington, DC.

“Strong, strategic leadership is essential to delivering on our organisation’s mission and vision,” said ITS America president & CEO Laura Chace.

“Transforming our transportation system through investments in technology will provide safe, accessible mobility options and access to more opportunities for our communities. Our board directors and officers lead by example in advancing safer, greener, smarter solutions for all.”
 

2025 ITS America board of directors leadership

•    Chair – Chris Armstrong, Cavnue
•    Vice Chair – Tilly Chang, San Francisco County Transportation Authority
•    Secretary – Seleta Reynolds, Los Angeles Metro
•    Treasurer – Laurel Straub, State Farm Insurance
•    Immediate Past Chair – Joanna M. Pinkerton, HNTB

“I am honoured to work alongside such an accomplished group of transportation leaders on the board as we serve our membership and continue deploying technology in transportation for the good of all," Armstrong said. 

"Our industry actively benefits from the ever-evolving technology landscape, and ITS America is already a leading voice in connectivity, artificial intelligence and automation. I am excited to work with our membership to advocate for a mobility future that solves the issues that we face in transportation while ensuring technology investments deliver measurable outcomes."

The following transportation professionals were named as new ITS America directors:

•    Shailen Bhatt, COO – AtkinsRéalis
•    David Desharnais, President & CEO – Rekor
•    Zac Doerzaph, Executive Director – VTTI
•    Robert Brydia, Senior Research Scientist Division Head – TTI
•    Solomon Caviness, Commissioner – ATL DoT
•    Preeti Choudhary, Executive Director – DriveOhio

 

Additionally, five directors have been re-elected to serve another board term:

•    Ramin Massoumi, Global Director, Intelligent Mobility Systems – Arcadis
•    Brad Stertz, Director, Government Affairs – Audi of America  
•    Kevin Ro, Director, Technical & Regulatory Affairs – Toyota Motor North America, Inc.
•    Henry Lui, Director – MCity
•    Tony Taveras, Director – Caltrans
