The 29th CARTES SECURE CONNEXIONS event theme is ‘Users on the move’, said exhibition director Isabelle Alfano. Electricity and gas company SP Group says it will build a network of 1,000 electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Singapore by 2020 to meet public demand.
Wong Kim Yin, SP group chief executive officer, says the initiative will enable greater adoption of EVs, help its customers go green and save energy and cost.

Lime and its competitors Tier and Voi have formed the Nordic Micromobility Association to promote safety standards for electric scooters.
The association will seek to strengthen relationships between Nordic cities and micromobility businesses as well as reduce emissions.
Earlier this year, Voi announced its plans to launch e-scooters in Lisbon as part of a wider ambition to expand in Europe.
