Intelligent transport systems (ITS) leaders from Asia, Europe, USA and Australia will meet in Melbourne at a free half-day business exchange and networking event on Friday 2 May.
Convened by ITS Australia, the meeting will provide updates on ITS developments and deployments across four continents, including innovations for vehicles and infrastructure, legislative initiatives, telematics technologies and plans for the ITS World Congresses in Detroit in September this year and in Melbourne in 2016, as well

Convened by858 ITS Australia, the meeting will provide updates on ITS developments and deployments across four continents, including innovations for vehicles and infrastructure, legislative initiatives, Telematics technologies and plans for the ITS World Congresses in Detroit in September this year and in Melbourne in 2016, as well as the Asia Pacific Forum in Nanjing in 2015.
ITS Australia Chief Executive Officer Susan Harris said the prominent position enjoyed by the nation’s intelligent transport systems industry is reflected in the large number of international ITS leaders joining Australian colleagues at the event.
Presentations will be made by secretary general of ITS Asia Pacific and chief executive officer of556 ITS Japan Hajime Amano, president and chief executive officer of ITS America Scott Belcher, secretary general of TTS Italy Olga Landolfi, China Ministry of Transport research Executive Weiyun Jiao.
