Inrix joins ITF corporate partnership board

Inrix is to join the Corporate Partnership Board (CPB) of the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD. Created in 2013, the CPB is the ITF's platform for engaging with the private sector and enriching policy discussion with a business perspective among its 54 member countries. Inrix is to join the Corporate Partnership Board (CPB) of the 998 International Transport Forum (ITF) at the 7353 OECD.

Created in 2013, the CPB is the ITF's platform for engaging with the private sector and enriching policy discussion with a business perspective among its 54 member countries.

Inrix joins the 13 current CPB members from across the transport industry: 513 Bombardier Transportation, China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO Group), 4984 Kapsch TrafficCom, 7905 Meridiam, 7794 Michelin, 838 Nissan Motor Corporation, 3264 PTV Group, SerTrans Logistics, Total, Uber and 609 Volvo Group.

Inrix technologies connect drivers and cars to smarter cities; the company’s real-time traffic information and driver services are implemented by a variety of automakers including 2125 Audi, 1731 BMW, 278 Ford, 1685 Mercedes, 994 Volkswagen and 1686 Toyota. These services help drivers navigate traffic to find the closest available parking or the least expensive fuel and EV charging locations. In the public sector, more than 60 transportation agencies worldwide use Inrix traffic information and analytics tools to help streamline daily operations, pinpoint investments in roads and transit and deliver better traveller information services.

The ITF’s 2015 Summit on the theme ‘Transport, Trade and Tourism: Mobility for a Connected World’ will take place from 27-29 May 2015 in Leipzig, Germany.
