Indonesia's mighty toll road plans

Indonesia's Government is planning to launch 100 public private partnership projects worth a total of US$473 billion. The projects have been announced at the Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on PPP for Infrastructure Development 2010.

Indonesia's Government is planning to launch 100 public private partnership projects worth a total of US$473 billion. The projects have been announced at the Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on PPP for Infrastructure Development 2010. Included in these plans are 18 toll road projects expected to be worth a total of $76 billion and international funding options, partnerships and input is being invited. In addition to these plans, a further 17 toll road projects worth a total of $193 billion have been identified as having potential by the authorities are likely to be put forward by the country's government shortly. A total of 53 countries which are members of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (2503 UNESCAP) participated in the forum.
