The Traffic & Infrastructure division of 769 Imtech, the global, Netherlands-headquartered technical services and ICT company, is exhibiting a vast array of transport-related solutions and services from across Europe, North America and Brazil.

This year’s exhibits demonstrate live projects from across the global business, from traffic management systems in Copenhagen and St. Petersburg to parking technology in Rio de Janeiro, tunnel solutions in Maastricht to telecommunications networks in Brussels. The company says that technology demonstrations, supported by real project examples, will allow visitors to truly experience the ‘Imtech’ offering.

ImFlow, the 2012 Intertraffic Innovation Award Winner, is joined by the 2014 Innovation Award nominee, ImCity, a software system at the heart of Smarter (Future) Cities. As the company points out, more and more cities recognise that technology can improve many areas, including transport and infrastructure, which assists the economy through recovery and/or growth.

Imtech is demonstrating a number of innovative ideas that will support the future of growing populations and the cities in which we live: traffic management, safety, intelligent transport systems (ITS), telecommunications, emissions reduction and dynamic passenger information for road, rail and multimodal urban and interurban applications.

Imtech says it is clear about it future direction - as an established technology Provider across Europe, the company, incorporating Peek and WPS, aims to be its clients’ first choice when they are looking for a technology solutions Provider in the fields of traffic and infrastructure.

Also on the Imtech stand is a new traffic light head with enhanced processing power so that it only requires a simple message from control cabinet to indicate which light(s) should be illuminated. By using this system Imtech said the amount of cabling between the signal head and the control cabinet is greatly reduced which lowers cabling and installation costs by 30%.
