IET and WTI to share electric mobility knowledge

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and WTI Frankfurt have announced a new agreement to include 500,000 IET Inspec records on electric vehicles and mobility in the WTI Wissensplattform Elektromobilität (WTI Electric Mobility Knowledge Platform) and TecScan Journals. The initiative is a major boost to sharing knowledge on electric mobility. The initiative is a major boost to sharing knowledge on electric mobility.

Electric mobility is a highly topical area of innovation and initiatives such as this and the IET Standards Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation are crucial to nurturing and stimulating current and future scientific research.”
 
Enhancing the data on the Electric Mobility Knowledge Platform with content from the Inspec database was a natural fit and step forward for the WTI. “Our partnership with the IET is of great significance to the future of research on electric mobility, and ultimately to the sustainability of the environment”, said the WTI’s Managing Director Manfred Jaksch. “Electric mobility is a key element of Germany’s green energy and transport policies and is of critical international interest.”
