Hylium Industries unveils hydrogen refuelling station

South Korea-based technology company Hylium Industries says its mobile liquid hydrogen station can refuel up to 100 fuel cell electric vehicles per day. South Korea-based technology company Hylium Industries says its mobile liquid hydrogen station can refuel up to 100 fuel cell electric vehicles per day.

Hylium says the station will contribute to the expansion of liquid hydrogen supply infrastructure for hydrogen-powered cars worldwide.

The mobile station is a five-tonne truck which can store up to 7,500 litres of low-pressure liquid hydrogen and carries fuelling equipment such a vaporiser and dispenser. In addition, the 900bar liquid pump is intended to reduce equipment costs by removing the need for a compressor and cooling system.
