Huawei believes that next-generation intelligent transport systems should enable travellers and enterprises in the transport sector to achieve responsive operations, convenient user experience, and enhanced safety. The company has developed a series of ITS solutions for different aspects of the transport sector, including an enterprise long term evolution (eLTE) broadband trunking solution, emergency communications solution, big data transport solution and transport bearer network solution, to help transport management organisations deploy an efficient, stable, and sustainable ICT system.

"Over the past decade, Huawei solutions have been supporting transport networks around the world, covering a distance of over 85,000 kilometres and over 70 per cent of highways in China are supported by our optical transmission systems," said Nie Xianzheng, general manager of Huawei Global Transport Solutions Department.
