Clearview Intelligence (Clearview) has confirmed that orders over the past year for its count and classify products and vehicle detection solutions as part of the Crown Commercial Service’s Traffic Management Technology 2 (TMT2) framework have shown a positive increasing trend. It revealed that Highways England has placed the largest order for replacement of legacy National Traffic Information Service monitoring kit.
Q-Free has won a contract, valued $3.8m (£2.1m), to supply tags to an Australian road operator over a three-year period. Interlink Roads manages and develops the M5 South-West Motorway and the E-way tolling business. Silje Troseth, general manager Australia, said: “We are very pleased to continue our relationship with Interlink Roads and ensure supply of Q-Free’s high performing tags in Australia.”
Driverless technology company EasyMile has been awarded the Start Up of the Year in France for the south region by international consulting firm EY. The company says the award recognises its innovation and vision - and highlights its growth potential. Gilbert Cagnaire, CEO and founder of EasyMile, received the award at a ceremony in Toulouse. EasyMile will now enter the overall Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Start Up category on 18 October in Paris.
