GMV acquisition of US-based Mobilitat Works boosts expansion potential

Spanish fleet management and passenger information systems supplier GMV has recently signed an agreement thorough its US intelligent transportation systems company Syncromatics to acquire 100 per cent of Mobilitat Works.

Spanish fleet management and passenger information systems supplier 55 GMV has recently signed an agreement thorough its US intelligent transportation systems company Syncromatics to acquire 100 per cent of Mobilitat Works.

Founded in 1998, Mobilitat Works specialises in demand-response intelligent transportation systems for the US market, in particular special transport services for people with a disability or functional diversity, known as paratransit.

GMV has been pursuing an international growth and expansion strategy for several years, with the US always a top priority. It believes that TMV and Mobilitat Works technologies complement each other and their combined resources will to accelerate Mobilitat’s already sharp growth over recent years in the US.
