EVgo launches mobile App for EV drivers to locate fast chargers.

EVgo in collaboration with technology solutions provider Driivz have launched the EVgo Mobile app allowing drivers of electric vehicles (EVs) to locate the nearest charge point in a US network of 980 DC Fast chargers. It allows card-free charging that initiates with a single swipe to the right and enables drivers to check charger availability. The app is available for IOS and Android devices.

EVgo in collaboration with technology solutions provider Driivz have launched the EVgo Mobile app allowing drivers of electric vehicles (EVs) to locate the nearest charge point in a US network of 980 DC Fast chargers. It allows card-free charging that initiates with a single swipe to the right and enables drivers to check charger availability. The app is available for IOS and Android devices.


Features include a robust mapping functionality to find the closest EVgo station and; real-time charger status. In addition, it includes filtering options that enable users to only see chargers compatible with their car and; a charging timer that remotely monitors charge duration. Users can save favourite charging spots and access recently visited stations. It also allows access to charging and billing history.

A new driver portal has also been launched which works with the app and allows customers to review their charging history and plans, as well as update their information.
