This year, the Freight and Logistics Programme Committee has organised presentations on: Supply chains in freight; Intermodal transport modelling; Monitoring and benchmarking in freight transport; Urban and city logistics.

    The submission date for papers for the 11th ITS European Congress has been extended by two weeks from 13 January to 25 January 2016. The extension only applies to Technical, Scientific or Commercial Papers and Special Interest Session proposals. The deadline for Special Interest Session proposals remains 13 January 2016.     Bristol City Council will install 120 electric vehicle (EV) charge points and convert part of its fleet to electric in a bid to become carbon neutral by 2050.     Lyft is offering free trips for cancer patients seeking treatment in Atlanta, US. The initiative is part of an extended partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS). ASC uses Lyft’s Concierge web platform to request rides on behalf of patients who do not have a ride or who are unable to drive themselves, according to media reports.
