The 8th European Conference on ICT for Transport Logistics (ECITL) will be held in Bordeaux from 5 to 7 October 2015 with the theme of Intelligent logistics solutions – a catalyst for digital economy.

The ECITL is co-organised by 374 Ertico-ITS Europe under the auspices of the CIP Pilot CO-GISTICS.

The conference will look at in-depth technologies as intelligent transport systems (ITS), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), etc., which are not only essential for the introduction of electronic freight (e-freight); they are also an innovative trend enabling sustainable logistics, intelligent cargo and resource-efficient employment of resources. It will also highlight emerging trends in the field of the deployment of ITS and will focus on sub-themes such as; (Co-operative) intelligent transport systems for logistics; eFreight; intelligent cargo; logistics in smart cities/urban logistics; sustainable cooperation between stakeholders in logistic value chains; safety and security in logistics and supply chains.

    New Riderscan survey on ITS and motorcycling safety
    The Riderscan project is launching its third and last survey targeting European motorcyclists.
