Engie to deliver 100 electric buses to Santiago, Chile
Engie will provide 100 electric buses and charging infrastructure for Santiago. The deployment is part of a wider ambition to establish a low-emission transportation system in Chile with 6,000 electric buses by 2040.
Also, Engie has issued a proposal for a light rail system to link Santiago's airport to the city, implemented an electric taxi fleet and developed an intelligent network of charging stations for electric vehicles.

The Navya shuttle travelled on a loop around the park and carried up to 15 passengers at a speed of up to 28mph.
Continental has secured a follow-on order for future metro projects in the Chinese city of Shanghai to help increase usage of rail and reduce gridlocks on roads.
The project will expand the metro network from 16 to 22 lines by 2020 and cover an area of 970km.

ChargePoint Services is to install its GeniePoint Network electric vehicle (EV) chargers across all Morrisons supermarkets in the UK.
ChargePoint says its 50-100kW rapid chargers will allow customers to refuel their EV in around 20 minutes.
The firm’s managing director Alex Bamberg says: “By offering another useful local service, customers are provided with choice for grocery, café and comfort stops, and green vehicle refuelling.”
