Continental Automotive is highlighting its participation in the ITS sector at World Congress with demonstrations of its eHorizon and M2X (motion information to X provider) communication systems. Also on display is a satellite tolling system that utilises either a smartphone or windshield mounted device and an on-board ITS maintenance system as well as RoadLog – the integrated electronic driver monitoring and fleet management system.

PlugFests provide venues for vendor-to-vendor connected vehicle device testing to help ensure that devices and systems meet the base standard requirements and level of interoperability necessary for the Southeast Michigan Connected Vehicle Test Bed Deployment 2014 Project.

The interactive and hands-on training aims to provide participants with the ability be able to select the right camera for a project (analogue, IP, thermal), configure the detection boards on a fundamental level and manage received events and data from the detectors. This opens the way to mapping out parking areas and informing drivers and navigation systems about available parking spaces. It also enables efficient enforcement of illegal parking, for instance in loading bays or disabled places.
