Centracs Adaptive is designed for transportation agencies seeking to significantly improve traffic mobility over pre-programmed signal timing plans. It actively reallocates and adapts signal timing to improve traffic flow, including unpredictable or unexpected traffic conditions.

Centracs Travel Time module enables Centracs ATMS to subscribe to BlueToad travel time and speed data to provide both historical, as well as current speed and travel time information.

Econolite will also feature its RTMS roadside radar detection system and Autoscope Duo, a hybrid radar and video vehicle detection system that provides the highest levels of detection accuracy in all traffic, lighting, weather, and pavement conditions.

Iteris focus on Pico compact video detection system
Iteris will use the ITS World Congress to focus on the Pico, a compact video detection system. It is specifically designed for adaptive traffic signal systems installed at small-to-medium intersections with up to sixteen detection zones. According to the company, the system’s rugged and inconspicuous package reduces the potential for theft and vandalism. As video cameras are mounted above-ground, installation is far less labour-intensive and requires minimal traffic encroachment, thereby reducing lane closu
