On 16 and 17 September, the conference will be held in English, and will give a Europe-wide overview of eCall deployment and implementation.

The first day will see discussions on the current status of the upcoming implementation of eCall and third party services in Europe. Political representatives of the 1690 European Commission, HeERO 1 and 2 partners and other stakeholders will present their agenda on eCall implementation and interoperability, eCall outside of Europe and additional services. Participants have the opportunity to network during the evening reception.

On the second day, the conference focuses on the view of car manufacturers, component suppliers and the entire range of services, aiming at the presentation of the on-going technical process of implementation and observes the requirements in the area of legal aspects.

The event is rounded out by an exhibition of eCall simulation and testing equipment, IVS hardware and other specific eCall solutions.

For the first time a new eCall Days Workshop will take place on the third day. It addresses all questions regarding the German PSAP’s special challenges and solutions and will be held in German.
