41 Eberle Design has announced the new ADU Auxiliary Display Unit, which is used in conjunction with the company’s ITS signal cabinet components. The ADU is a rack-mounted display module which full four-colour/32-channel LED intersection display.

The ADU includes built-in SmartMonitor technology which interfaces with the CMU-212 Cabinet Monitor Unit. The unit installs in a 1U-height 19in rack space and provides a menu-driven LCD user interface to the enhanced features of the CMU-212 cabinet monitor, including the built-in diagnostic wizard. The main advantage of the last-mentioned is that it will automatically diagnose cabinet malfunctions and pinpoint faulty signals.

The back-lit LCD also allows users to view vital cabinet operational details such as field signal voltages and historical event logs, and monitor configuration data. No modifications to the cabinet wiring are necessary when installing the ADU.
