The platform provides an elevated mounting for EarthCam’s advanced solar-powered webcam technology. This includes the company’s intelligent traffic management software, also on display at National Harbor.

EarthCam’s webcam technology and managed services have been deployed for documenting key construction projects such as the new World Trade Center tower in Manhattan and the Milton-Madison Bridge across the Ohio River. This important bridge, connecting the towns of Milton, KY, and Madison, IN, is being replaced by Walsh Construction of La Porte, IN, Burgess & Niple Engineers of Columbus, OH, and Buckland & Taylor Ltd of North Vancouver in British Columbia. EarthCam has two rugged high-definition cameras on site, providing critical site information such as weather data 24/7.
