Understanding the technology of tomorrow is the theme of another new event, the Digital Showcase, held the day before CARTES. It will highlight the products that are set to become part of our daily lives in the near future – such as Google Glass, 3D printing, Oculus Rift, Drone, Leap Motion and many others which are about to make a big impact. Connected objects, micro-payment and home automation are likely to be among the highlights.

Introduced by CARTES Network exhibition director Isabelle Alfano and Stephane Distinguin, CEO of Fabernovel, the session will also include a roundtable discussion and there will be a Tech Playground at which attendees have the chance for some hands-on interaction.

Digital Showcase, Monday 3 November, 16:00 Espace Wagram, Paris
