ITS Canada, the national organisation representing Canada’s ITS industry, was awarded the host country for the 2017 ITS World Congress, in partnership with ITS America. This 24th ITS World Congress will be held in Montreal, Quebec, one of Canada’s most beautiful cities and a strong advocate for integrated mobility in transportation.
The preliminary programme of the 22nd ITS World Congress is now available online, with details of all sessions, speakers, social and associated events, as well as the 30-plus demonstr4ations which have been planned for the congress in Bordeaux.
Registration is now open for the five-day 23rd ITS World Congress, to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia from 10-14 October 2016.
More than 7,000 international delegates are expected to attend the Congress, hosted by ITS Australia, on behalf of ITS Asia Pacific, Ertico and ITS America, the Congress theme is ITS - Enhancing Liveable Cities and Communities.
The Congress will include Plenary and keynote speakers, special interest sessions and more than 300 exhibitors.
ITS Australia has announced the optional technical tours that will take place during the 2017 summit in Brisbane 27-29 September, providing delegates with behind the scene tours to Brisbane’s ITS technologies and control centres!.Tours will be held on Day 3 – Friday 29 September 2017 from 0830 to 1630, hosted by Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. During Tour 1, to Brisbane’s public transport system: multi-modal ITS transport solution, takes place from 0830 to 1630, delegates will be shown r
