“Data nerds” tackle big data

Self-described “transit data nerds”, the guys at 7868 Transit Labs are working to help build smarter cities through intelligent transportation services. The company’s data analytics solution pulls data from various transportation agencies, analyses the information and makes it accessible through a web-based visualisation dashboard. The goal, according to CEO Dag Gogue, is to optimise the cost of delivering transit services safer and in a more convenient manner for riders.
