Launched in late 2011, the VCX-7401 single-channel video CODEC has been deployed in Hawaii, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.

“We’ve included two Ethernet ports so that you can transmit on fibre and copper at the same time,” said Hadi Daryadel, President of Coretec.

The codec is available as a stand-alone device with built-in power supply and is able to plug into virtually any detector rack.

According to Daryadel, the company prides itself on designing and manufacturing all its products in the U.S.
