The City of Copenhagen in Denmark has decided to support use of electric cars by earmarking up to 500 parking places, equipped with charging points, for EVs. The plan also includes reduced parking fees for the vehicles.

The City of Copenhagen in Denmark has decided to support use of electric cars by earmarking up to 500 parking places, equipped with charging points, for EVs. The plan also includes reduced parking fees for the vehicles.
UK-based health and care organisation Provide has adopted Spark EV’s artificial intelligence-based technology with the intention of removing range anxiety for drivers in its electric vehicle (EV) fleet rollout. The technology is said to enable the cars to complete 20% more journeys between charges. Called Spark, the system collects live driver, vehicle and other data sources through an in-car sensor. It uses cloud-based machine learning algorithms to provide more accurate journey predictions for EVs.
The UK government is providing £400m to create an electric vehicle (EV) charging point infrastructure, in partnership with the automotive industry.

SP Group is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charger network in Singapore to 200 points, including 52 DC fast chargers.
The company says the DC fast chargers will be able to charge an EV in 30 minutes in the Central Business District, Orchard shopping area, the island resort of Sentosa and a planning area in the east region called Paya Lebar.
SP is hoping to install 1,000 charging points, of which will be 250 DC chargers by the end of 2020.
