Conduent Transportation will deliver 1,700 smartcard ticket validators to Dutch transport company RET in Spring 2019. The technology will be used by commuters on buses and trams in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

In a separate contract, Conduent implemented the fare collection system for state agency Carreteras de Cuota’s tourist train which runs from Puebla City to the Cholula district.
Governor of Colorado Jared Polis has signed an executive order which outlines a suite of initiatives to support a transition to zero emission vehicles (ZEV) in the US state.
Polis says: “Our goal is to reach 100% renewable electricity by 2040 and embrace the green energy transition already underway economy-wide”
He believes the public health and environmental benefits of widespread transportation electrification will increase as the state moves towards a cleaner electric grid.
The initiatives include
PSC Solar, the research and development subsidiary of PSC Industries, will deploy electric vehicle (EV) chargers across four African nations, according to media reports.
Chargers will be installed in Nigeria, Ghana, Niger and Benin in preparation for the arrival of EVs.

Lime’s scooters and warehouses in France will be powered by local, solar and small hydro projects in a bid to advance clean micro mobility in Europe, the firm says.
The move stems from a three-year agreement with Planète Oui, an electricity provider which supplies 100% local and renewable energy.
As part of the deal, Lime’s ‘Juicer’ partners which join Planète Oui will receive a free three-month subscription to the service and an additional 20% discount on their monthly subscription thereafter.
