China’s first all-electric bus route launched

In Jiangyin city, in China's Jiangsu province, the No.99 bus route was launched yesterday, the first in the country to be operated exclusively by electric buses.

RSSIn Jiangyin city, in China's Jiangsu province, the No.99 bus route was launched yesterday, the first in the country to be operated exclusively by electric buses.

Spanning a distance of 13.5km, six of the ten electric buses purchased by the Jiangyin City Bus Group will be operating on the route while the remaining four will be on stand-by as spare buses, according to an official from the company.
