The company is featuring its solar-powered roadside call box which is built to last, enduring the elements for over 20 years, and paving the way for green ITS technologies worldwide. Case Systems says that transportation agencies, public works departments and 511 programs use its call box systems enhanced with Bluetooth technology to offer additional information services to the driving public.
Using the same design concept and low-cost, reliable technology, 7237 Case Parking delivers real-time occupancy for managing parking facilities utilising a web-based dashboard with the ability to provide parkers with parking space availability via smartphones, message signs and web applications. The company’s turnkey parking solution, which counts cars in and out of parking lots with more than 99% accuracy, uses a new data management, or “Counts in the Cloud” approach, to automate real-time parking information or special event planning. Case Systems says that ROI studies show that its parking solution will drive positive cash flow in the first month of operation.
Spanish company Proin manufactures a range of products for work zones. Its PROINbal brand encompasses road delineators, cylindrical bollards, polyethylene barriers, road studs, beam and concrete barrier reflectors, speed bumps, cones and other luminous devices.
Intelight remains focused on its ATC compliant X2 controller at this year’s show, reminding conference goers that it features a color touch screen interface that allows for third-party applications to run in tandem with traffic applications without interference.
Italian company Insico (INnovation SIgn Consulting) will feature its backlit waterproofed safety sign innovation at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014. Developed to improve safety signs, it uses an active system based on light diffusion technology and a passive system, in the case of sudden loss of electricity, with the use of special retro-reflective semi-transparent films. The device can be manufactured in different sizes, graphics and colours and is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
