Call for entries for 2013 best of ITS awards

The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) will recognise member organisations that have produced the most innovative products and services in the intelligent transportation systems industry during the 2013 Best of ITS Awards at the 23rd Annual Meeting & Exposition in Nashville Tennessee. The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (560 ITS America) will recognise member organisations that have produced the most innovative products and services in the intelligent transportation systems industry during the 2013 Best of ITS Awards at the 23rd Annual Meeting & Exposition in Nashville Tennessee. ITS America Members, including private sector companies, research institutions and public agencies can submit entries for the highly competitive program until 25 January 2013.

ITS America will award winners in each of the following categories:

The Best New Innovative Product, Service or Application category is focused on new and innovative ITS products, services, training programs, or applications that demonstrate a benefit to consumers and users in the areas of public safety, security, surface transportation efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, innovative financing and other.

The Best New Innovative Practice category focuses on rural ITS, sustainability in transportation, marketing and outreach, partnership deployment (business-to-business, government-to-government, or public/private), or research and innovation.

Finalists and winners will be announced during the open plenary session on 22 April 2013 at the 23rd ITS America Annual Meeting & Exposition at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
