BYD supplies electric buses to Toronto Transit Commission

BYD Canada will deliver ten 40-foot, electric buses to support the Toronto Transit Commission’s (TTC’s) commitment to establishing a zero-emission fleet by 2040. According to BYD, TCC intends to purchase only emission-free buses from 2025. Ted Dowling, BYD Canada’s vice president, says: “These first ten buses alone will mean a carbon reduction of 700 Metric tons every year.”

According to BYD, TCC intends to purchase only emission-free buses from 2025.

    Keolis Canada to acquire 12 e-buses from Lion Electric
    Keolis Canada has ordered 12 electric Type C all-electric school buses from Lion Electric to transport hundreds of children in the Lanaudière region, Quebec.     BYD launches electric taxi and car sharing service in Thailand
    BYD has deployed the first e6 electric cars to provide a clean energy VIP taxi and car sharing service in Bangkok. The initiative stems from an agreement with the Land Transport Department of Thailand: 101 out of an intended 1,000 vehicles have so far been provided.
