Skyline Products will soon be installing the largest ITS-grade, full-colour, 20mm-masked LED Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) in the US. The Colorado DOT will use the sign as part of its I-70 speed harmonisation pilot to manage traffic travelling between mountain ski destinations and Colorado.

Aldis has reduced the size of its GridSmart CPU in order to make it a better fit for traffic cabinets worldwide. The company has also released version 3.2 of the software which supports its video detection solution. Advanced tracking algorithms are combined with an enhanced, more user-friendly graphical user interface which features fully actuated intersection detection, traffic data collection, and a mini-TMC capability which uses digital pan/tilt/zoom capability for intersection surveillance.
ITS Germany used its presence at the June 2016 Europe ITS Congress in Glasgow to make two major announcements from the city of Hamburg, country’s second-largest urban area. First came a formal bid to host the 2021 ITS World Congress; second, the global unveiling of new Roadwork Administration and Decision System (ROADS) software.ROADS has emerged to enable coordination of planned transport construction projects several years before start dates, to minimise impacts on traffic flows when work begins.
