Bill Shuster to headline IBTTA Transportation and Finance Summit

Bill Shuster, chairman of the United States House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, will lead a notable list of political and policy experts when he addresses the 3804 International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association's (IBTTA) Transportation Policy and Finance Summit, 14 and 15 March 14-15 at the Washington Marriott Georgetown in Washington, D.C.

The meeting is co-hosted by IBTTA local members; the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, the 600 Transurban Group and the 1747 Virginia Department of Transportation.

Bringing more than 175 transportation leaders together from across the US, the Summit will focus on transportation policy and finance issues and highlight the most effective methods and tools to improve mobility in a constrained resource environment.

Sessions during the two-day meeting include:  CBO Report: Approaches to Making Federal Highway Spending More Productive;  Road usage charging;  All Politics (and Solutions) are Local; Coordinating Managed Lanes, Toll Roads and RUC;  Media Panel, The Media’s Perspective on Informing the Public About Tolling.
