The exhibitors participating in the national pavilion are part of an Australian delegation of more than 150 professionals that have arrived to attend the 21st ITS World Congress.

The 858 ITS Australia pavilion here in is displaying pioneering technologies produced by Australian companies that are leading their fields on the global market. The exhibitors participating in the national pavilion are part of an Australian delegation of more than 150 professionals that have arrived to attend the 21st ITS World Congress.
The ITS Australia pavilion features displays by 6667 Cohda Wireless, Traffic Technologies, Intelematics, 7641 Eroad, and NICTA – National ICT Australia. Highlights include Cohda Wireless V2X, V2I and V2V, Intelematics telematics vehicle connectivity services, the NICTA driving simulator, designed to measure driver inattention, and traffic management technologies from Eroad and Traffic Technologies.
Chief Executive Officer Susan Harris says ITS Australia will host several social and networking functionss and delegates are invited to visit the pavilion to learn about a wide range of Australian innovations.
“The Australian pavilion exhibits truly reflect the Detroit Congress theme Reinventing Transportation in our Connected World,” said Harris. “In addition, the Australian delegation includes about 30 members who will make presentations during the Congress. Melbourne 2016 6456 ITS World Congress Committee Members will also share the latest 23rd Congress developments and reveal exciting opportunities now available for partnerships and demonstrations.

Hot on the heels of the 21st ITS World Congress in Detroit, Ertico - ITS Europe is already writing session proposals, contacting speakers and putting together the demonstration programme for the 2015 ITS World Congress. This will take place from 5-9 October in the French city of Bordeaux, one of the most advanced cities in Europe in terms of ITS adoption, and will have the theme of ‘Towards intelligent mobility – Better use of space’.
The Aisin Group is unveiling its see-through mirror monitor to the general public for the first time at ITS World Congress Detroit.
The mirror monitor provides drivers with visibility into traditional blind spots. The system enables drivers to see adjacent vehicles and pedestrians more clearly, while driving or reverse parking.

Among several new products that RuggedCom will unveil at the ITS World Congress is the RS900GP, a 10-port PoE managed Ethernet switch with gigabit uplink ports. It comes standard with eight PoE+ ports and optional dual gigabit ports for fibre or copper. With a total power budget of 240 Watts, a single switch can power multiple CCTV cameras and wireless access points with the capacity for additional devices.
Kapsch will use the ITS World Congress Detroit to show for the first time the company’s V2X end to end capabilities by demonstrating the full V2X system integration, incorporated into its Dynac Traffic Management solution.
