This year’s event from May 26-28 is hosted by Seopan - Spain's Association of Construction and Concession Companies for Infrastructure - and will be at the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding hotel in the city’s financial district.

As with all previous 51 Asecap Days conferences, the Madrid event promises to offer exceptional opportunities for networking, knowledge gathering and social interaction. Asecap - the European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructure - has organised the best and the brightest speakers within the European tolling sector. They will impart their wealth of experience and knowledge to hundreds of delegates from across Europe and beyond.

Attendees will hear about the latest trends and challenges in transportation and infrastructure through a programme of thought-provoking discussions and practical solutions.

The theme for the event is 'Challenges of future mobility - the role of road infrastructure'. Several years ago, European motorway operators started a major shift towards greener mobility.

However, more investment is needed to make a successful green transition. To face this challenge, toll road infrastructure operators propose to foster green projects, including the transformation of the infrastructure to host electric cars, buses and trucks as part of green mobility solutions for all road users.

The 52nd Asecap Days will focus on how it would be possible to foster these safe and mobility solutions by stimulating investment aimed at reaching the European Union’s objectives of Vision Zero in terms of fatalities and Net Zero in term of CO₂ emissions.

Delegates will also hear panel discussions about sustainable financing scheme to support these transformations and developments without burdening public budgets.

What topics are on the agenda at Asecap Days 2025?

- sustainable road financing schemes;
- innovation for the next generation of traffic management;
- digital twin-based maintenance and monitoring for road infrastructure;
- tolling system and CO₂ reduction for Net Zero targets;
- road safety for reaching Vision Zero
