Arcontia smart card readers integrated into handheld PDA

Arcontia International, Swedish contactless smart card products supplier, is to supply 1,000 of its contactless smart card readers for integration into the Handheld Nautiz eTicket Pro PDA for e-ticketing and fare collection. Arcontia works closely with Swedish PDA manufacturer Handheld, supplying the public transport industry with ruggedised PDAs with high performance contactless smart card readers.

760 Arcontia International, Swedish contactless smart card products supplier, is to supply 1,000 of its contactless smart card readers for integration into the Handheld Nautiz eTicket Pro PDA for e-ticketing and fare collection.

Arcontia works closely with Swedish PDA manufacturer Handheld, supplying the public transport industry with ruggedised PDAs with high performance contactless smart card readers.
 
The design of the Arcontia reader and antenna makes it easy to fully integrate into the PDA without any hardware changes to the PDA ergonomics. The smart card reader and the PDA provide customers with a lean and rugged mobile device for ticket control, travel information and support workflow processes. This combined solution has become one of the most common used embedded PDA smart card solutions in public transport.
