Among them will be the company’s Video Image Processor (VIP) that combines traffic flow monitoring and automatic incident detection functionality in one single board. The VIP-T module analyses images from analogue cameras while the VIP-IP can connect to a broad range of IP cameras, supporting both MPEG-4 and new H.264 video compression.

Meanwhile, the company’s range of vehicle presence sensors features Traficon’s TrafiCam sensor that combines a CMOS sensor and video detection technology in one and can be used for vehicle presence detection at signalised intersections. Next to the standard TrafiCam sensor, Traficon will also be highlighting the TrafiCam x-stream, which is IP-addressable and includes H.264 image compression and streaming video.

Also being featured at the company’s booth will be Traficon’s successful C-Walk and SafeWalk sensors that ensure safety and efficiency for pedestrians actually crossing or waiting to cross the street. The company says these smart video detection sensors are a cost-effective alternative to radar, PIR or pressure mats.
