2013 Polis Conference – call for speakers

The call for speakers for the 2013 Polis Conference, to be held in Brussels on 4 and 5 December, covers a wide range of topics open under the core Polis themes of environment and health, traffic efficiency and mobility, road safety and the social and economic challenges. The findings show that both business and the public are concerned about the pace of delivery and a record number of firms are dissatisfied with the state of infrastructure in the region. The report showed that 96% of the 727 businesses surveyed see infrastructure as important to the government’s agenda and 55% view it as critical.

    The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has released a Standardisation Roadmap for Electric Vehicles – Version 1.0, developed by the Institute's Electric Vehicles Standards Panel (EVSP). The roadmap assesses the standards, codes, and regulations, as well as conformance and training programmes, needed to facilitate the safe, mass deployment of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure in the United States.
