2013 Polis Conference – call for speakers

The call for speakers for the 2013 Polis Conference, to be held in Brussels on 4 and 5 December, covers a wide range of topics open under the core Polis themes of environment and health, traffic efficiency and mobility, road safety and the social and economic challenges.     A 76-year-old passenger travelling on an autonomous shuttle has been injured after the vehicle came to an unexpected stop, says KUTV. Gene Petrie, an employee at the Utah State Tax Commission, was thrown from his seat and hit the handrail near the door, resulting in bruising and black eyes.
